My name is Amy Mills
I'm an accredited counsellor offering therapy to help teenagers, young people and adults process difficulties past and present, accept themselves and find ways to live that feel authentic, meaningful and contented.
I also offer clinical supervision for counsellors and therapists, as well as independent supervision for people working in related professional roles such as education, social and health care.
I offer in-person sessions to people from my therapy room in the centre of New Plymouth (Aotearoa New Zealand). I also offer online sessions to people further afield in Taranaki and across the motu, overseas in the United Kingdom and internationally in many other countries too.

LGBTQIA+ / Rainbow and Neurodivergence friendly
I particularly welcome people who identify as being LGBTQI+ or Rainbow, and those who are questioning their sexuality or gender identity. I also welcome people who identify as neurodivergent, including those with ADHD, autism (ASD) and other differences in how they think and experience the world.I offer support that is affirmative and appreciative of each person's experience of being and relating. I don't expect people to hide who they are, or adapt themselves to fit what someone else thinks is a normal way of doing things.
